Description
Fort Worth-based Joint Resources Co. has completed a horizontal San Andres oil well in western Gaines County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas. Through fracture-treated perforations at 6,144-13,071 ft, #3H Laredo A pumped 247 bbl of 25.1° API crude, 852,000 cu ft of gas and 1,408 bbl of water per day. The Carter-New Mexico Field well was drilled on a 481.7-acre Permian Basin lease in Section 3, Block A9, PSL Survey, A-554. The lateral bottomed about 1.5 miles to the south-southeast in Section 8. The total depth is 13,154 ft (5,316 ft true vertical).
