Description

ValPoint Operating LLC has completed a western Anadarko Basin horizontal exploratory test in Ellis County, Okla. The well, #1H-24 Berryman, is in Section 25-18n-23w and initially flowed 316 bbl of 40-degree-gravity oil with 685 Mcf of gas and 1.494 Mbbl of water per day from Oswego. Production is from acidized and fracture-stimulated perforations at 9,775-14,417 ft. It was tested on a 36/64-in. choke with a shut-in tubing pressure of 1750 psi and a flowing tubing pressure of 790 psi. Drilled to 14,481 ft, production is from a north lateral with a true vertical depth of 9,355 ft that bottomed in Section 24-18n-23w. Valpoint’s headquarters are in Amarillo, Texas.
