Description
BC Operating Inc. has completed a horizontal Wolfcamp producer in the Eddy County, N.M., portion of the Delaware Basin. The #1H Sterling 20 State (731) was tested flowing 1.914 MMcf of gas, 842 bbl of oil and 3.444 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acidized and fractured perforations at 9,350-13,936 ft. The Forehand Ranch Southwest Field well was drilled to 14,111 ft, 9,054 ft true vertical, and is in Section 17-23s-27e. The horizontal leg bottomed a mile to the south in Section 20. Tested on a 48/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 993 psi. Midland, Texas-based BC has filed paperwork requesting the well be assigned to Purple Sage Field.
