Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Energen Resources Corp., based in Birmingham, Ala., has completed four parallel horizontal Phantom Field-Delaware Basin Wolfcamp producers from a drillpad on a 360-acre West Texas lease in Section 4, Block 3, H&GN RR Co Survey, A-4212, in Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #601H Quarterback State 3-4 flowed 2.253 Mbbl of 46-degree-gravity crude, 10.149 MMcf of gas and 8.187 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-treated perforations at 11,145-20,671 ft. Tested on a 1-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,525 psi. The 20,790-ft well has a true vertical depth of 10,962 ft. The offsetting #7701H Quarterback State 3-4 flowed 1.915 Mbbl of oil, 6.955 MMcf of gas and 9.079 Mbbl of water per day from fractured perforations at 11,466-20,982 ft. Tested on a 52/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,975 psi. It was drilled to 21,100 ft, 11,220 ft true vertical. The #701H 3-4 Quarterback State flowed 1.183 Mbbl of crude, 9.034 MMcf of gas and 9.082 Mbbl of water per day from perforations at 11,328-20,690 ft. Tested on a 1-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,579 psi. It was drilled to 20,804 ft, 11,310 true vertical. The #801H Quarterback State 3-4 flowed 821 bbl of oil, 1.812 MMcf of gas and 9.551 Mbbl of water per day from perforations at 11,857-21,819 ft. Tested on a 52/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,843 psi. It was drilled to 21,940 ft, 11,620 ft true vertical.
