Description
In Chaves County, N.M., DWR Oil Properties has completed the first horizontal producer in Chisum East Field. The discovery is on the Northwestern Shelf of the Permian Basin at #005H Pinehurst. It was tested flowing 66 bbl of crude and 706 bbl of water per day from San Andres and is in Section 21-11n-28e and was tested after a 20-stage fracturing. The well was drilled to 26,878 ft and the lateral bottomed to the south in Section 21-11s-28e with a true vertical depth of 2,172 ft. Production is from perforations at 2,587-6,760 ft in the San Andres. DWR’s headquarters are in Merkel, Texas.
