Drilling Activity Summary

Description

ATX Energy Partners LLC has scheduled 24 horizontal exploratory tests in the Powder River Basin in Johnson County, Wyo. The wells, according to IHS Markit, will be drilled from five common drillpads in three sections—two in Section 33-46n-80w, two in Section 34-46n-80w and one in section 3-45n-80w. Six wells will be drilled on each of the pads in Section 33, and four wells will be drilled on each of the pads in sections 34 and 3. All of the wells will be horizontally drilled northward across two sections to bottom-hole locations in sections 27 and 28-46n-80w. The wells on the two pads in Section 33 are on the company’s Yellowstone leases, while the wells on the three pads in sections 34 and 3 are on ATX’s Old Faithful leases. Objectives of the 24 wildcats include Niobrara, Frontier and Mowry. The Yellowstone and Old Faithful projects are generally south-southwest of Trabing Field, which has produced 1 Mbbl of oil, 1.38 Bcf of gas and 143.01 Mbbl of water primarily from Frontier since its discovery in 1975. ATX is based in Austin.
