Panagiotis "Panos" Dalamarinis

Completions Manager, Seismos Inc.

Panos Dalamarinis has 15 years of combined research and operational experience in oil and gas. Areas of expertise include well design and optimization, drilling fluids design and optimization, hydraulic fracturing design for conventional and unconventional reservoirs (shale gas/oil, tight gas/oil, CBM), production optimization and stimulation, and economic analysis of hydraulic fracturing operations.

Dalamarinis has performed intergraded engineered completion designs and optimization studies, on both well and field development level, in more than 400 wells in multiple unconventional basins in onshore U.S., Australia and China. He has participated in the development of hydraulic fracture evaluation and optimization criteria for Sinopec’s shale assets in China, Santos’ coal bed methane fields in Australia and for various operators of unconventional plays in the U.S.

He has more than 20 scientific papers in international journals and conferences, two European and one international award from SPE as well as two consecutive Texas Oil and Gas Awards (2016 and 2018). He also holds four U.S. patents on the field of hydraulic fracturing optimization for unconventional resources.
