GT Reed and Associates LLC has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell assets in the shallow Niobrara gas play of southwest Nebraska. The package includes 113,955 gross acres (107,520 net) in Chase, Perkins and Keith counties, with a 100% working interest and 82.5% net revenue interest. The primary target is the Beecher Island zone, and secondary target formations. The reserves are estimated to be 500 million cubic feet of gas on five-year term fee leases which begin expiring in 2008 with options to renew five more years.
