Great Southern Exploration LC has retained Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc. to offer interests in Central Louisiana. The package involves 100% working interest (75% net revenue interest) and operating rights in approximately 76,000 gross and net acres in Rapides, Vernon and Natchitoches parishes targeting the cretaceous trend. The acreage involves 47,514 acres in Rapides Parish, 23,254 acres in Vernon Parish, and 5,179 acres in Natchitoches parish. The leasehold has a three-year primary term with the earliest expiration in June 2012, and more than 90% with primary term expiration in 2013. Significant reserve potential exists in multiple formations that have been logged in offsetting wells. Pipeline infrastructure is within close proximity of the position. The data room opens Jan. 18.
