Berry Petroleum Co. has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell certain coalbed-methane assets in Wyoming. The package includes 85 producing and five shut-in nonoperated wells on 5,800 gross acres (5,100 net) in the South Joe Creek Field in Campbell County. Production is 4.4 million gross cubic feet of gas per day (425,000 net) from the Canyon, Cook, Wall and Pawnee coals. Reserves are 4.3 billion gross cubic feet (405 million net). J.M.
