Hydraulic Fracturing Techbook 2015

The 2015 Hydraulic Fracturing Techbook is the eighth in a series of techbooks in which Hart Energy will provide comprehensive coverage of effective and emerging technologies in the oil and gas industry. Each Techbook includes a market overview, a sample of key technology providers, case studies of field applications and exclusive analysis of industry trends relative to specific technologies.

Eagle Ford Shale Playbook 2015

The Eagle Ford Shale Playbook is the 24th in Hart Energy’s exclusive series of comprehensive reports delving into North America’s most compelling unconventional resource plays. Our lineup of topics addresses the plays everyone is talking about and delivers answers to essential questions on reservoirs, active operators, economics, key technologies and infrastructure issues. Some playbooks also feature a full-color map highlighting fields, drilling activity and significant wells.

Permian Basin 2010

The Permian Basin of West Texas and southeast New Mexico is one of the premier U.S. producing provinces. Although its conventional reservoirs are heavily developed, today's unconventional prospects offer attractive targets to long-time players and new entrants alike. Such unconventional plays as the Wolfberry, Bone Spring, Barnett and Woodford are highlighted. Top operators, economics, key drilling and completion strategies and infrastructure issues are also addressed.

Granite Wash Playbook

Operators are applying both horizontal and vertical wells to produce reserves from this longtime target that occupies a swath 160 miles long and 30 miles wide in the Texas Panhandle and western Oklahoma. The Granite Wash is an extraordinary reservoir, prone to extreme variations in thickness, grain size, pore-size distribution, number of prospective intervals and gas/oil ratio. Economic rates are achieved by multistage, slickwater fracture treatments and close attention to costs.

Chapters: Play overviews -- Key Players: Company profiles section -- Key Technologies, horizontal and vertical drilling, emphasis on cost-control -- Midstream Activities and Joint Ventures -- Economics -- Reference Section.

Bakken and Niobrara Shales Playbook

The Bakken and Niobrara Shales Playbook is the 23rd in Hart Energy's exclusive series of comprehensive reports delving into North America's most compelling unconventional resource plays. Our lineup of topics addresses the plays everyone is talking about and delivers answers to essential questions on reservoirs, active operators, economics, key technologies and infrastructure issues.

2015 Unconventional Yearbook

The 2015 Unconventional Yearbook presents the most important facts and figures on the Top 20 US resource plays. This fifth edition of an annual series of data books provides an overview of current activity with snapshots of the regional plays, profiles of key players, a review of technology, a look at midstream activity, economic analysis and data, and a bibliography. Like the playbooks, the Unconventional Yearbook includes a full-color shale wall map.

Tuscaloosa Marine Shale

The Tuscaloosa Marine Shale Playbook is the 22nd in Hart Energy's exclusive series of comprehensive reports delving into North America's most compelling unconventional resource plays. Our lineup of topics addresses the plays everyone is talking about and delivers answers to essential questions on reservoirs, active operators, economics, key technologies and infrastructure issues

Hydraulic Fracturing: The 2014 Techbook

The 2014 Hydraulic Fracturing Techbook is the sixth in a series of techbooks in which Hart Energy will provide comprehensive coverage of effective and emerging technologies in the oil and gas industry. Each Techbook includes a market overview, a sample of key technology providers, case studies of field applications and exclusive analysis of industry trends relative to specific technologies.

Permian Basin Wolfcamp Playbook 2014

Permian Basin resource plays are set to see production growth that continues the renaissance transforming the area. Hart Energy forecasts 1.2 MMboe/d of Permian production growth by 2025, with oil and NGLs contributing ~1 million bbl/d. That nearly doubles today's 1.5 MMbbl/d. Production will ramp up from unconventional drilling with solid margins because most wells breakeven oil price is below $70/bbl. Economics like these economics help explain the upward trend in Permian activity and capital budgets.

Artificial Lift Techbook

The global market for artificial lift is rapidly expanding. From an estimated $9.3 billion of revenue in 2012, the industry is expected to reach $16 billion by 2018. North America accounted for more than 45% of the total market in 2012, and additional growth is anticipated through the end of the decade. This Techbook will explore the increasing demand for artificial lift technologies, with special emphasis on unconventional reservoirs. The techbook features a market overview, major types of lift and selection considerations, successes and challenges in artificial lift technology.

Rockies Tight Sands and Shales Playbook

The Rockies Tight Sands and Shales Playbook features the Niobrara in the DJ and North Park basins and the Niobrara, Frontier, Turner, Shannon, Sussex and Parkman in the Powder River Basin. Also discussed is the Castle Peak and Uteland Butte shales in the Uinta Basin and the Gallup/Mancos reservoirs in the San Juan Basin. Operators are targeting each of these with horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracturing technolugces. The playbook includes chapters on geology and reservoir characteristics, popular technolugces and their best uses, midstream infrastructure development and production forecasts. Key operators working these plays are profiled as well. Additionally, the playbook has a full-color wall map depicting the latest horizontal drilling activity across the region.
