Bakken/Exshaw Playbook

The Williston Basin's prolific Bakken shale has delivered steadily improving well recoveries as operators hone drilling and completion techniques. Drilling has expanded into secondary reservoirs, notably multiple benches in the Three Forks formation and, to the west, the correlative Exshaw shale, popularly known as the Alberta Basin Bakken. This playbook includes a 24" x 36" map highlighting fields, drilling activity, and significant wells.
