California voters will be get a chance in November to halt the state's Green Economy initiative. The ballot will contain a referendum to amend the law in order to suspend its operation while unemployment in the state remains above 5.5% — and at the moment, it’s at 12.6% and going up. Spain tried this and it failed...badly. For every 'Green Job' created in Spain, 2.2 jobs were lost because of higher energy prices. It seems in the current economy voters are more concerned with their jobs then anything else.
