Offshore drilling firm Valaris has secured a contract with W&T Offshore for its jackup rig VALARIS JU-117 in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, the company said on May 19.
VALARIS JU-117 jack-up drilling rig, previously known as Ralph Coffman, has been commissioned on a 45-day deal. The contract for the heavy-duty modern jackup is anticipated to begin in July 2021.
In April, Valaris completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
