Energy and multi-discipline services group Valmec has inked a collaboration agreement with Pindari WA to jointly develop projects within Western Australia’s resources sector.
Pindari has more than 20 years of experience in providing electrical, building and maintenance services to blue chip resource companies such as Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Woodside Petroleum.
Valmec said the delivery model would provide an expanded suite of fully integrated civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation services, building and maintenance works to mining and resource clients in the Pilbara region.
Valmec managing director Steve Dropulich said the signing of a collaboration agreement with Pindari was a key milestone in the development of the current trading relationship between the parties.
“With Pindari already having developed a strong record of delivering high quality electrical services, building and maintenance works and labour hire services throughout the Pilbara, this collaboration is directly aligned to Valmec’s vision in establishing and maintaining sustainable relationships with Indigenous businesses and communities,” he said.
“We look forward to working together to identify new strategic and growth projects, opportunities for co-operation and improvement and to seek to develop a long, prosperous and mutually rewarding partnership”.
Pindari managing director Dave Pidek said the company was keen to seize the opportunities for growth, development and managing risk through cooperating with Valmec.
Valmec employs about 150 project and support personnel, operating out of facilities in Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.
