Denver-based Trigon EPC was acquired by CH2M HILL, a global full-service engineering, construction and operations firm for an undisclosed sum.
Trigon specializes in upstream and midstream pipelines and facilities. The company provides project management, engineering, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, surveying, permitting, construction and construction management, and systems operations.
“The energy industry is an important part of CH2M HILL’s future and the addition of Trigon makes the future that much brighter,” said Lee McIntire, president and COO of CH2M HILL.
Trigon has 26 years of experience in the oil, natural gas and energy sector. It has delivered projects that have included over 14,000 miles of gathering and transmission pipelines, in excess of 300,000 horsepower for natural gas compression and liquids pump stations, and hundreds of other pipeline-related projects throughout the U.S.
CH2M-HILL, with over $5 billion in revenue, specializes in engineering, construction and operations for public and private clients. The company’s areas of expertise are within transportation, water, energy, environment and industrial facilities.
The company’s interests in the energy industry include crude oil, natural gas, oil sands, solar, wind and other renewable sources.
