Teton Energy Corp., Denver, (Nasdaq: TEC) has named Marc MacAluso to its board of directors. A formal election will be held at Tetons annual meeting in May.
MacAluso is also a director of Calgary-based Trident Resource Corp. From 2005 through 2007, he was a partner and investor in Destiny Oil & Gas LLC. Earlier, he was chief executive officer and chief operating officer of Denver-based Inland Resources Inc. He has also worked at TCW Asset Management Co., American Exploration Co. and Shell Oil Co.
Teton president and chief executive officer Karl F. Arleth says, We are extremely pleased to appoint someone with Marc's experience and capacity in banking, capital markets, petroleum engineering and executive positions, to Tetons board of directors. We will look for him to be a strong contributor to Teton, and the board looks forward to working with him.
In addition, Teton says longtime board member John T. Connor will resign from the board.
Teton non-executive chairman James J. Woodcock says, I would like to thank John Connor for his exemplary service to the company as a director and as past chair of the audit committee. John particularly helped us transition from Russia to a U.S. producer in 2004 and 2005. We wish John all the best in his future endeavors.
Tetons operations are concentrated in the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent regions of the U.S.
