Red Oak Pipeline LLC announced on July 5 that it has launched a supplemental open season seeking additional crude oil transportation commitments for service from origins in Oklahoma and Texas to Gulf Coast destinations including Corpus Christi, Ingleside, Houston, and Beaumont, Texas.
Red Oak Pipeline LLC is a 50/50 joint venture of Phillips 66 and Plains All American Pipeline LP. The pair formed the JV in June to construct the Red Oak Pipeline system with initial service from Cushing, Okla., to the Texas Gulf Coast targeted for first-quarter 2021.
Prior to participating in the supplemental open season, interested parties must execute a confidentiality agreement to govern the receipt of the open season documentation. For a form of confidentiality agreement and additional information regarding the transportation service, please contact RedOakPipeline@p66.com.
Enbridge Inc. has delayed the start of an open season to solicit bids for contracted space on its Mainline oil pipeline system, North America's largest oil-shipping network, three market sources told Reuters on July 17.
The facility includes a produced water treatment system, 1.8 million barrels of water storage for treated produced water and non-potable water and a 16-inch pipeline for redelivery to a final staging location for pickup.
Increasing unconventional-play takeaway capacity continues, as moving gas deeper into the U.S. Northeast and both oil and gas to foreign markets via the Gulf Coast are a work in progress.
