RDS has been awarded a new contract for the detailed design of a drilling facility for an offshore platform, the company said March 12.
The contract has a duration of 12 months with future follow on support executed from RDS’s central London offices. This is RDS’s first detail design award for a new Greenfield platform since the oil price decline in 2014.

Azinor Catalyst Ltd., the Seacrest Capital Group-backed E&P company focused on the U.K. Continental Shelf, has committed to the Oil and Gas Authority on May 3 to the drilling of two wells in 2020.
