Norway’s Polarcus has failed to obtain a firm seismic contract offshore West Africa with an undisclosed client after previously notifying in June that it had obtained a letter of intent for a 3-D marine acquisition program. Polarcus declared in early August that due to equity changes in the relevant license block in Angola, the LOI has not materialised into a service contract.
