Platina Energy Group, Dallas, (OTCBB: PLTG) reports that it has validated and quantified oil and gas reservoirs in its Kentucky properties using magnetic resonance detection.
David Shroff, PE, who has performed 120 successful well evaluations, was retained to interpret the data.
Platina president Blair Merriam says, “The Kentucky field has been a prolific field for Platina. The code to optimize maximum recovery has been a challenging matter and one that we now believe we have a handle on. According to last week's test and validation, we are even more excited than we have ever been about production potential from this field.”
The company has also retained the completion services of a proprietary ionized water injection system, which works with magnetic resonance detection. According to Platina, readings from three wells indicated potential production of 20 to 480 barrels of oil per day.
