Apache Corp. (NYSE: APA) is selling a non-producing leasehold position in the Texas Panhandle through a sealed-bid offering handled by EnergyNet.
The offer is comprised of roughly 19,936 net acres with possible targets in the Douglas, Granite Wash, Cleveland and Marmaton formations. The assets include 75% to 81.25% net revenue interest and are located in Hemphill, Lipscomb, Ochiltree and Roberts counties, Texas.
Offset activity consists of 151 active area permits, 121 of which are for horizontal wells, according to EnergyNet.
Select area operators include BP America Production Co., Cimarex Energy Co. (NYSE: XEC), ConocoPhillips Co. (NYSE: COP), EnerVest Operating LLC, EOG Resources Inc. (NYSE: EOG), Kaiser-Francis Oil Co., Mewbourne Oil Co. and Unit Petroleum Co.
