Sevan Marine is currently working on several studies and tenders for upcoming FPSO and FSO prospects, it says, although postponements and delays have been experienced so far in 2015.
The floater specialist, in is fourth quarter 2014 results, said during the quarter it continued to provide engineering and site support services for the Goliat, Western Isles and Logitel projects. In addition it has continued to work on studies and tenders for upcoming prospects like the potential FPSOs for the Bream (Vette) and Penguin fields, and the potential FSOs for the Bentley and Culzean fields (the latter in partnership with Teekay).
But it added: “These prospects have for the most part all been postponed or delayed in 2015 due to the rapid decline in the oil price and the consequent market uncertainty and reduction in investment levels.” It believes it is now “less likely” to receive any new license agreements this year.
