Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP (NYSE: BWP) announced on Feb. 1 that Richard Keyser has joined Boardwalk as senior vice president of Operations. In this role, Keyser will be responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of Boardwalk’s interstate pipeline and storage assets. Keyser will report to Brian Cody, Boardwalk’s senior vice president of Asset Management.
“Richard has an extensive 30 year career in the pipeline industry and we have worked together in the past,” said Stan Horton, president and CEO of Boardwalk. “Richard is an accomplished leader with a commitment to safety, integrity and compliance. He will ensure that our interstate pipeline and storage assets continue to be constructed, operated and maintained at very high standards.”
Most recently, Keyser served as senior vice president of Engineering for NiSource Gas Transmission and Storage. In addition, he has been a board member of the Pipeline Research Council and a member of the INGAA Pipeline Integrity Task Force. Previously, Keyser served as Senior Vice President for Cheniere Energy and has held positions at several other pipeline companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas and an associate of applied science degree in Construction Technology from Iowa State University.
