KBR, Houston, (NYSE: KBR) has completed construction on facilities for the Coalition Forces on the Iraqi oil transfer platforms in the Persian Gulf.
KBR completed construction in 120 days, with completed facilities that include berthing, restrooms, galleys and support infrastructure to include power generation and distribution, fresh water production and distribution and fire protection systems for the facilities.
KBR G&I design and construction unit vice president Richard Grave says, “KBR was able to overcome significant design and logistical challenges and successfully completed the work on time, despite rough seas and an extreme range of both hot and cold weather.”
