John Pinkerton, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Range Resources Corp., became a Director in 1988. He joined the Company as President in 1990 and was named Chief Executive Officer in 1992. Effective May 20, 2008, Mr. Pinkerton was named Chairman and CEO. Previously, Mr. Pinkerton was Senior Vice President-Acquisitions of Snyder Oil Corporation. Prior to joining SOCO in 1980, Mr. Pinkerton was with Arthur Andersen. Mr. Pinkerton received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University and a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas
