A Lewis sand wildcat has been scheduled by Mantachie, Miss.-based Horton Enterprises Inc. in Itawamba County, Miss. The 1,500-ft. #1 Horton-Bean is in Section 13-9s-8e north of Fulton. Mississippian recovery is 2.5 miles northeast in one-well X-Files Field, where #1 Senter 5-12 was tested flowing gas from Evans sand between 960 and 961 ft. The venture yielded 1.19 million cu. ft. of gas from 2001 to 2005.
