International oil and gas attorney Shahid Ghauri has joined the Houston office of Jones Day as a partner. He was head of Hunton & Williams’ oil and gas practice and began his energy career as a field engineer with Schlumberger Ltd. “Shahid’s substantial experience, and particularly his cross border expertise, will significantly enhance our Texas oil and gas practice and our energy practice around the world,” says Houston office partner-incharge Nancy MacKimm. Jones Day advises more than half of the Fortune Global 500 companies.
