Following its tremendous growth as one of the largest SaaS providers to the energy industry, Austin, Texas-based Enverus said Jan. 30 it had promoted two key executives including Tanya Andrien as COO.
Enverus also promoted Jimmy Fortuna, who has worked to drive innovation across the Enverus product portfolio, to chief product officer.
Since joining Enverus, Andrien has been influential in Enverus broadening its focus to include trading and risk and business automation. In particular, she oversaw 16 of Enverus’ acquisitions and several strategic collaborations over the past three years, according to the company release.
Andrien was also recently acknowledged as one of Oil and Gas Investor’s “25 Influential Women in Energy.”
Commenting on the promotions, Enverus President and CEO Jeff Hughes described both Andrien and Fortuna as instrumental in the company’s growth.
In August 2019, 20 years since its formation as Drillinginfo, the company surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue. In conjunction with the milestone, the company also decided to rebrand itself as Enverus in order to better reflect its identity after its years of expansion.
“These two individuals will continue to lead Enverus down the path to deliver the most comprehensive technology solutions our customers in energy have ever seen—high value, founded in data and built on science,” Hughes said in a statement.
Prior to joining Enverus, Andrien was a lecturer in energy finance at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and the associate director of the McCombs Energy Center.
Fortuna had previously served in leadership roles including vice president of product management at Omnitracs LLC and vice president of product development at NCR Corp. He is also an inventor and patent holder on 10 U.S. patents in a diversity of fields including cryptography, cyber security, vehicle telematics and point-of-sale mobility.
Enverus is currently comprised of three business units: Enverus Drillinginfo, Enverus Trading & Risk and Enverus Business Automation.
