Enterprise Products Partners LP increased the loading rate at its LPG export terminal on the Houston Ship Channel to about 27,500 barrels per hour of capacity, the company said Dec. 30.
Previously, capacity was16,500 barrels per hour. A recently completed new refrigeration train increased loading capabilities to 16 million barrels per month from 9 million. This is equal to about 29 vessels per month, Enterprise said.
The LPG terminal expansion is among $7.8 billion in capital growth projects Enterprise expects to complete and bring into service by the end of 2017.
