Enerplus Resources Fund, Calgary, (Toronto: ERF) has acquired various gross overriding royalty interests in Wyoming from an undisclosed seller for US$52 million (C$60 million). The assets include a 0.5% interest in 650 wells in the Jonah Field. Production is approximately 540 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Proved reserves are approximately 2.2 million barrels equivalent and proved-plus-probable reserves are 2.9 million barrels equivalent. EnCana Corp. is operator.
