El Paso Exploration & Production Co. LP, Houston, completed a Wilcox well flowing 15.1 million cu. ft. of gas with 163 bbl. of water a day in eastern Lavaca County (RRC 2), Texas. The #1 Rodgers was drilled to a total depth of 15,499 ft. in the William Parks Survey, A-362. Nearest Wilcox production is about 2.5 miles eastsoutheast. There, #3 Pitts flowed 6.42 million cu. ft. of gas a day when it was completed in 2003, and has recovered 842.8 million cu. ft. of gas and 14,531 bbl. of water as part of Speaks South Field. Speaks South Field has recovered a total of 7.61 billion cu. ft. of gas, 14,711 bbl. of condensate and 362,017 bbl. of water from five Wilcox wells since coming onstream in 2002.
