Airswift, the global workforce solutions provider for the energy, process and infrastructure sectors, said July 31 it has cemented its Denver presence with a new, local office, building on the capability already delivered remotely in the region.

Based in the heart of downtown Denver, this new office will focus on talent acquisition and global mobility as the area continues to expand on the back of the Rocky shale boom. Colorado has seen significant job growth recently with 89,000 direct and indirect jobs supported by the state’s oil and gas sector alone.

While the energy sector is thriving in Denver, the area also has a strong foothold in manufacturing, life sciences and chemicals. Drawing on its expertise in the process and infrastructure sectors, Airswift will also provide workforce solutions to the diverse range of businesses operating in the region.

Initially, the office will be staffed by existing members of the Airswift team who will relocate from Houston. Paul Carr, the company’s divisional manager of Rockies, moves over to lead the team, supported by Alixandra Conyers and Jennifer Perez with a focus on direct hires and contract hires respectively. The company plans to make a new, local hire early next year.

“The Denver-Julesburg basin is increasingly important to our clients, so it is only right that we established a permanent local presence. As a business, we believe in offering the best possible service through local teams, so it was a natural next step to make a long-term commitment to this burgeoning region,” Sam Cross, senior vice president of the Americas at Airswift, said.

The Denver office will be located at The Wells Fargo Building, 1700 Lincoln Street, Denver and will be Airswift’s eighth office in North America.
