Completed IPO valuing the company at $21 billion.
Kinder Morgan originally filed to raise up to $1.5 billion in its IPO. Due to increased demand, the IPO was upsized from 80 million shares of common stock to approximately 95.5 million shares, at $30 per share. The offering price per share was also increased to more than the initial estimated range of $26 to $29 per share.
Kinder Morgan will not receive any of the proceeds.
Goldman Sachs and Barclays Capital were joint book-running managers. BofA Merrill Lynch, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo Securities, Madison Williams and Co., Morgan Keegan, Raymond James, RBC Capital Markets and Simmons & Co. International were co-managers.
