Chesapeake Energy Corp. announced the commencement of private offers of new 8.00% senior notes due 2026 to be issued by the company in exchange for certain outstanding senior unsecured notes of the company, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in the company's confidential offering memorandum and related letter of transmittal, each dated March 5, 2019. The exchange offers are not subject to a minimum or maximum amount.
