Matthew Toole is the Director of Deals Intelligence for Thomson Reuters Investment Banking division. In this capacity he is responsible for communicating mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, private equity and venture capital industry trends through quarterly research reports and the financial media. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Toole managed Thomson Financial’s capital markets content strategy and development including debt and equity research and banking contributor relations. He started his career as a research analyst in the fixed income group at Thomson Financial Securities Data. Mr. Toole received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College.
