Description

At Marathon Oil Corp.’s West Myrmidon prospect in McKenzie County, N.D., the company reported two Antelope Field-Middle Bakken producers that were drilled from a drillpad in Section 35-152n-94w on Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. According to IHS Markit, #31-2H June USA flowed 7.572 Mbbl of oil, 6.638 MMcf of gas and 4.273 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal lateral extending from 12,304 ft southeastward to 22,328 ft, 10,732 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 11-151n-94w. It was tested on a 52/64-in. choke following fracturing and acid cleanup in 45 stages between 12,354 and 22,191 ft. The #31-2H Chauncey USA was drilled to 22,041 ft, 10,711 ft true vertical. According to the Houston-based company, it had an average 30-day IP rate of 3.47 Mbbl of oil and additional details have not yet been released.
