PETRONAS agreed to buy 1 million tonnes a year (mtpa) of LNG from CP2. The agreement builds on a prior commitment for 1 MTPA from Venture Global’s Plaquemines LNG project.
CP2 LNG has sold approximately 10.75 mtpa of its 14.4 mtpa Phase One nameplate capacity. Venture Global started site work on the project in June and expects to make a final investment decision before the end of the year.
