Effective Oct. 1, Dylan Cope will begin his tenure as Unit Corp.’s chief accounting officer and controller.
Before this promotion, Cope served as the company’s business operations controller beginning in June 2021. He has held various positions within the company’s finance and accounting department since joining Unit in 2019.
“In his role as business operations controller, Dylan has demonstrated the financial acumen and leadership skills necessary to serve as the company’s chief accounting officer and controller,” Tom Sell, Unit Corp.’s chief financial officer, said in a press release.
Before joining the company, he was a senior manager at Grant Thornton LLP. Cope received a master of science in accounting from Oklahoma State University and is a certified public accountant in Oklahoma.
