TechnipFMC has been awarded an integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract by Equinor for the Johan Sverdrup Phase 3 development in the Norwegian North Sea.
The contract is worth between $500 million to $1 billion, the company said in a March 24 press release.
The Johan Sverdrup Field, which originally began production in 2019, is one of the largest developments in the region. This latest phase will increase production by tying in more wells to the existing infrastructure.
