“We are excited to announce this strategic alliance with TechnipFMC and to work collaboratively as we continue to execute on our strategy to scale our CCS business,” Bob Abendschein, executive vice president and head of operations at Talos, commented in the release.

Based in Houston, Talos is one of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico’s largest public independent producers. Earlier this year, the independent E&P company launched an initiative to target carbon capture and storage opportunities.
