Hart Energy's SUPER DUG conference rolled on as day two kicked off with ConocoPhillips’ strategy to corner shale through its hegemony in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford Shale and Bakken.
Nearly 2,000 people attended May 23 sessions ranging from a deep dive into drilling and completion tech and innovation to the ins and outs of the SCOOP and Merge plays to the strategy – and standards – employed by Permian M&A maestros at Double Eagle IV.
Then, after retired Gen. Wesley K. Clark’s talk on world energy security, conference goers partied at the historic Fort Worth Stockyards with Reckless Kelly.
