Steve Gray, a member of Range Resources’ board of directors since 2018, is retiring, the natural gas producer announced in an Aug. 22 press release.
Gray’s retirement will be effective Oct. 1.
Greg Maxwell, Range’s chairman of the board, said that Gray had helped make Range a more resilient operator in the Marcellus Shale “capable of generating free cash flow and returns of capital through price cycles.”
“During my time on the Range board, I have seen the company navigate through tough times, volatile commodity prices and a pandemic, yet emerge as a stronger company,” Gray said. “I am proud of how the Range team has managed the business through those challenges by improving the balance sheet, consistently performing at a high level and returning capital to shareholders.”
