ESG, a global software-as-a-service provider, has expanded into Denmark by acquiring CUBS, which provides billing solutions for energy companies and electric mobility providers. Financial details of the transaction were undisclosed.
ESG provides a software platform for energy customer, market and asset management in North America and the U.K. Its platform serves more than 800 customers and more than 50 million end users worldwide.
The cloud-based CUBS system is a billing solution that supports all business processes from consumption to billing for energy companies in Denmark, where it is used by 30% of electricity retailers.
