Pelican Energy Partners has acquired welding, machining and fabrication contractor United Services Group (USG), which serves domestic utility and power generation customers, Pelican said March 10.
Financial terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed.
"Our investment in USG reflects our continued commitment to investing across the energy services sector,” said Mike Scott, Pelican’s managing partner and founder. “We are excited to partner with USG as they continue to deliver exceptional value for their customers and employees in a critical area within the energy services value chain."
Stephen Gillman, founder and CEO of Charlotte, North Carolina-based USG, said the company looked forward to applying its expertise to the energy services industry.
