Software solutions provider PakEnergy LLC has acquired well management servicer Petrosight Inc. to enhance lifecycle well management solutions for the oil and gas industry, according to a Jan. 7 press release.
Calgary, Alberta-based Petrosight owns a cloud-based wellsite management system aimed at bridging the data and reporting gap between the field and office, the release said.
The system is said to simplify drilling complexities, allowing its customers to capture and analyze well data more efficiently, PakEnergy said.
"The Petrosight system addresses the critical need for timely well data and perfectly complements our land management, field data capture, and accounting systems," said PakEnergy CEO Santosh Nanda. “We can now deliver unparalleled visibility and control across the well and capital project life cycle.”
No financial terms for the deal were disclosed. Charlesbank Capital Partners is PakEnergy’s private equity partner.
