Offshore wind developer Ørsted has appointed two members to its group executive team, effective May 1, according to an April 23 press release.
Amanda Dasch was named chief development officer and will lead Ørsted Commercial, which covers commercial activities across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, the company said.
Dasch brings 20 years of energy industry leadership experience and is currently Ørsted’s CEO of the Americas region. She will also lead the company’s trading and revenue, group strategy and innovation and group stakeholder relations segments.
Godson Njoku was appointed chief generation officer, tasked with overseeing Ørsted’s European fleet of energy-generating assets.
Njoku joined Ørsted following 20 years at Shell where he held various senior positions, including executive vice president of global production excellence for Shell’s upstream business, the release stated.
With the additions, Ørsted’s group executive will include six members who will report to Group President and CEO Rasmus Errboe.
“With Amanda Dasch and Godson Njoku, we’re welcoming two strong profiles who will add valuable competences to our group executive team, bringing decades of senior leadership experience from the energy industry,” Errboe said. “The group executive team reflects our sharpened focus on our core business, on project execution and on improving our competitiveness.”
