New Fortress Energy (NFE) executed a 10-year charter agreement for the Energos Eskimo, a 160,000 cu. m floating storage and regasification unit with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS).
Energos Eskimo will be deployed to EGAS’ LNG import terminal located at Ain Sokhna, Egypt and is expected to begin operations in the summer of 2025.
The announcement follows NFE’s first cargo shipment in late September from its Fast LNG platform off of Altamira on Mexico’s Atlantic coast.
