Liberty Lift Solutions LLC opened a new service center in Bakersfield, Calif. The company will manufacture a line of North American-designed beam-pumping units in conventional and enhanced geometry models. The new service center will stock new and reconditioned pumping units and will provide maintenance, repair, and inspection services on any model of pumping unit in the Pacific region.

Rainbow Ceramics, a manufacturer and supplier of ceramic proppants, opened a North American sales and technology center in west Houston. The company will provide customer technical support and product quality-control services as well as proppant performance studies at the new facility.

Welltec Americas hosted a grand opening ceremony for its 2,787-sq-m (30,000-sq-ft) headquarters in Katy, Texas. The new facility will serve as the training base for the company’s field engineers and technicians and management team for the Americas.

Stork Technical Services is expanding its training capabilities by teaming up with AIS, which will provide skills training and competence assessments for Stork personnel in northeast England. Training will take place at the AIS training facility in northeast England and Stork’s training facility in Dyce, Aberdeen, Scotland.

HB Rentals opened its new Eastern Hemisphere headquarters in Sauchen, Scotland. The US $1.6 million facility has more than 500 sq m (5,382 sq ft) of covered workshop area and will handle all manufacturing for the company’s Eastern Hemisphere operations.
