Velocity Midstream Partners is building a crude oil gathering and transportation system in the fairway of the prolific Scoop play, and it is signed on powerhouse operator Continental Resources Inc. as its customer. The new system will gather crude oil in Grady, Stephens, Garvin, and McClain counties, Okla., and provide transportation and interconnections to downstream pipelines with direct access to Cushing.
